Corissa Christina Giles
March 6, 1994 — August 15, 2022
Corissa passed away Monday, August 15th in her home. She was 28 years old. Corissa fought with her mental illness for years, and ultimately, took her own life that day. Corissa was born into this world March 6th, 1994 to her parents Terry Diomedes and Chris Giles. She is survived by her parents as well as her stepmother, Angi, and two older siblings, Joey and Brianna. She was a loving aunt to Joey's two sons, Darren and Bryce, and to Brianna's three children, Aryella, Kylie, and Damien. She was the beautiful fiancee to Kody and a wonderful mother to her son, Jakob. And of course, you can't forget her first furry children, Bob and Sid.
Corissa had many passions. She always kept her mind busy with whatever her new obsession was. She loved horses, art, true crime, Kurt Cobain, unicorns, rainbows, music, cartoon network, nickelodeon, dogs and really all animals. She loved to dye her hair fun colors and dress weird. She was the most herself when she was dressed in tutu's and tails.
Corissa had many struggles in her life, but she always made sure to make others feel loved. Despite her own insecurities, she always told her friends, family, and even strangers what they were worth. She always cared deeply for others� always so forgiving no matter who or if they wronged her. She was a light in this world that will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
There will be a Gathering to Celebrate Corissa's life on 9/4 from 2p-6p at the Fleet Reserve at 390 Mayport Rd, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233. If you have not done so, please get in contact with the family as the club is private and we will need to make sure we have enough seating/food for all.
