Jose R. Santiago, 50, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2023, after his courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born on December 30, 1972, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. Jose was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and a caring and generous friend. He was a hard and dedicated worker, loved by everyone who knew him.
Jose dedicated 28 years of his career to W. W. Grainger, Inc. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Outside of work, Jose had a variety of hobbies that brought him joy. He was a member of the Low Rider Club and Jeep Clubs, and he had a deep passion for music. He also found fulfillment in helping others and cherished spending time with his family.
Jose is survived by his beloved wife, Maribel Zayas; his son, Jose X. Santiago; his father, Jose A. Santiago; his mother, Aida Santiago; his sister, Shaira Santiago; and his nephews and nieces, Darius, Isaiah, Nyasia, Anthony, Sasha, Hector, David, Isabella, and Sofia.
A funeral service will be held in Jose's honor on October 13, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, located at 11175 Old St Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32258. The Naugle Funeral Home in Jacksonville, FL, is assisting with the arrangements.
