Mark A. Daley, 72 of Jacksonville, FL passed away Friday January 21st, 2022 after a series of illnesses and is now with The Lord. He passed while hand-in-hand with his devoted wife.
Son of Natalie E. Daley and the late Alan B. Daley, Mark was raised in Longmeadow, MA.
Mark joined The United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was stationed in The Philippians. This is where he met and fell in love with his beautiful bride and best friend of 51 years Erlinda Daley.
Mark and Erlie moved to Springfield, MA to establish their life together and raise their son Alan "Bo" Daley. Mark started his career path as a brick layer working for the family business, T.A. Daley & Sons. He then worked for Digital Equipment Corporation as a Materials Analyst in the technology industry.
Mark loved fishing, building computers, going out to eat, especially buffets with his wife, family and friends. He was a dog lover and owned many dogs throughout his life. He and Erlie enjoyed one another and the warmth of Jacksonville for the last 14 years.
Mark was a man of faith and leaves his Church Family, their support during the last 18 months has been truly appreciated by Mark and Erlie.
Mark leaves his wife Erlinda V. Daley and son Alan "Bo" Daley and wife Lyn Daley of Providence, RI, his Mother: Natalie "Lola" Daley of Attleboro, MA, His cherished grandsons Tyler Daley of Worcester, MA, Airman Hunter Daley of North Charleston, SC and Parker Daley of Providence, RI, his Great Granddaughter Vivian Daley of North Charleston, SC, dog: Sha Sha, Sister Darlene and her husband David Korenberg of Westchester, PA, their sons Mark & Matt and their families and his brother Brian and his wife Virginia Daley of Norton, MA, their sons Patrick & Sean and their families. He is predeceased by his Father Alan B. Daley.
