Albert James Mound

Albert James Mound, Jr., “Jim”, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, July 12th, 2013 at the age of 71. Jim was born on December 6th, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan and spent most of his childhood in Dearborn, Michigan. He graduated from St. Alphonsus High School in Dearborn. After high school, Jim joined the Navy and retired as an Air Crewman in 1966. Most of his time in the Navy was spent flying and traveling all over the world. He then became an insurance agent for 14 years with AAA of Michigan. He and his wife, Alice (married 45 years), moved to Stuart, Florida (Martin county) to open Jim Mound Nationwide Insurance Agency in 1982. Jim and his family enjoyed time out on the water boating and fishing while residing in Stuart. Jim retired from his Stuart agency in January 2004.
Survivors include wife Alice Mound, son Todd Mound, daughter Michelle Dominick (Lester), and grandchildren Brittnee Mound, Jaimee Mound, and Dylan Dominick.
