Alease (Granny) Bowles, 80, of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully on February 9, 2023 at 12:15pm at VIVO Healthcare in Jacksonville, FL.
Alease was born on November 11, 1942 in Richmond, VA to Mr. and Mrs. Carr. She graduated college with a nursing degree and worked for Home Health agencies always putting her patients health before hers. She was also very active in va the Sheriff's Watch program attending every meeting and making sure crime did not occur in her neighborhood. In Alease's free time she enjoyed cruising around town in her Ford Mustang and spending time with family and her best friend Bobby. She had a love of fried chicken, gossip, and animal...not necessarily in that order.
Alease was predeceased by her son Brian Bowles. Left to cherish her memory are her only daughter Pamela Hawkins and her sons Jason Bowles, Mark Moore, and Charles Bowles; grandchildren Joshua Clements and Austin and Marshall Bowles. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her but she is now with God in heaven
