Alexander Joseph Shewey, age 24, a recent graduate of Bowling Green State University, passed away suddenly early morning on Sunday, June 5th. Alex graduated from BGSU with a degree in Aviation Management and planned to become a pilot. He was a loving, nurturing, and thoughtful person who always put others first. He had a beautiful soul and made sure those who were with him laughed and enjoyed life. He was an amazing son, brother, grandson and friend. His passions included helping others, spending time with family and friends, animals even though he was very allergic, flying planes, watching Chicago Bears football with his grandparents and living life to the fullest, making sure every moment counted. He impacted every person he encountered and had such a special heart. He will be missed by many and his legacy will forever be remembered.
Alex is survived by his parents Michael and Stacy Shewey, his sister Morgan Renee, brother Jackson Edward, his grandparents Linn and Joe Miller, and his grandmother Dorothy Shewey [predeceased by his grandfather Gerald Shewey], many aunts and uncles, cousins and several other family members and friends. Please keep them all in your prayers.
Alex has been described as a pied piper of children and the sweetest boy to his elders. He loved mission work, he loved his grandparents, family, friends and life. The Shewey family's non-profit has a project in Africa. Hands 4Life <
