Anthony J. Guerra was born in Brooklyn, New York, 96 years ago and later made his home in Florida. He was a gentle man who lead a full and enriching life, who took great pride in his family. He enjoyed his grandchildren as well his great grandchildren, taking exceptional pride in their achievements, always ready to share stories about them with family and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Jean, who was the love of his life for 74 years. Anthony is survived by his daughters, Laraine Herbst and Janet Villano; five grandchildren, Michele, Dina, John, Kristian and Jason; and eleven great grandchildren. We find peace in knowing that he is together once again with our late mother Jean as they watch over us.
Anthony’s funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at San Jose Catholic Church (3619 Toledo Road #A, Jacksonville, FL, 32217)
