Arlean Maria Embry

On March 21, 1991 the world received a special gift wrapped in a baby girl born to Alicia Pollard and shared with Charles Smith. Born Arlean Maria Pollard affectionately known as Lele
Arlean received her name from a combination of two of Alicia's favorite people, her sisters Arlene Marie and Angelica Maria.
Arlean was baptized at an early age at Pentecostal Church of God. She was educated in the Detroit Public School System. Arlean received her High School diploma from Cass Technical High School with honors and was a proud "Technician". Arlean went on to further her education at Ferris State University where she graduated with honors and acquired a degree in Social Work.
Something About Family
Arlean always put her family first. Lele cultivated a special bond with her nephew Kameron, In a sense she was a second mom to him. When Kam's mom could not be present Arlean made sure he did not miss out. Most people would describe her as a social butterfly. She could talk to everyone and befriend anyone. Arlean loved her friends and family. Much like her late uncle Harold, Lele called and checked on everyone no matter how near or far you were. She called and checked on some of us monthly and some of us daily.
Something About a Love Story
On August 15, 2019 in San Diego California on Sunset Cliffs, Elbert S Embry IV and Arlean M Pollard exchanged vows and later announced to friends and family. Unfortunately, it would be some time before the beautiful couple could live there happily ever after. El had a few more months to complete his assignment in California before he would be stationed in Bahrain for 2020. In 2021 the couple was assigned to Jacksonville Fl. A dream location for Lele because of the weather. The couple was finally able to be together under the same roof.
Something About Losing You
Spring is that season of the Year when the water from the melted snow cap mountains flow gently into cool Springs clear down the mountain side - when the various colors of Lily's Bloom to the fullest view flowers form in a rainbow blanket field covering land that was once barren this is the season of new birth and thus it was on the Aurora of this panoramic view of beauty joy and happiness that God saw fit to send down his angels from heaven to say welcome home to Arlene Marie Pollard Embry April 3rd, 2023. Due to unforeseen circumstances Arlean went to heaven before she could meet her precious little princess and finish out her love story.
Arlean was proceeded in death by her beloved Sister Ashley, her Uncle Harold, cousins Dwight and Ajanee Father-in law Elbert Embry III, Step Father-in Law Larry Batie, Great grandparents Theodis and Bessie(Nonnie) Brown and Harold(BigPapa) and Sallie(Big Momma) Pollard.
Arlean leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Elbert Embry lV, beautiful baby girl Emily Nicole Embry and Anita Denise Embry, Mother and Father Alicia and Charles Smith, Mother in law Bethany (Koy) Batie, Brothers Anthony, Shaquille, And Isaac, Nephew's Kameron and Carter, Grandparents Amelia Patterson, Harold (Cheri) Pollard and Linnie Embry, God parents Yolanda Shannon and Eric Armstrong, Auntie Arlene (Frank), Angelica (George), Leanne, Lashawn and Uncle Jason, Sister-in laws Kanice (Star), Keana (Diamond) and Rubenee Embry and a host of cousins
