Billy (Bill) Bob Bethel passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on October 11, 2017 at the age of 60.
Bill is predeceased by his father Billy Bob Bethel, Sr.
Bill is survived by his loving daughter, Casey Wright Harris and her husband Tyler Harris; his grandson Colby Wright, Mother Oleta Thigpen and stepdad Joe Thigpen.
Bill is lovingly remembered by his brother and sisters, Barbara McKenney (Roland), Bobby Bethel (Pam), Brenda Reese (Randy), Beverly Smith (Wayne) Becky Bethel, step-sister Mary Thigpen DeCamargo, his Aunt Freda Murray and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Bill was born in Little Rock, Arkansas but spent most of his life in Jacksonville where he attended Wolfson High School. He recently retired from a long and successful career in Maintenance Supervision for various Real Estate Companies overseeing properties throughout the United States.
Bill loved being with family and friends. Enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and loved the beach.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held Thursday October 26, 2pm at Southside Baptist Church, 1435 Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207 with Gary Lee Webber, Senior Pastor officiating.
