Billy Truman Reese, 80, formerly of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida.
A memorial service will be held November 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the Llano Cemetery Mausoleum in Amarillo, Texas.
Billy was born June 28, 1937, to Grady and Beulah Reese. Billy graduated from Amarillo High School and had a long career with Southwestern Public Service Company.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ed, and his sister Cloyce Jones.
Billy is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jo Della Reese. He is also survived by his two sons, Kyle (Amy) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jeffery (Kristal) of Canyon, Texas. Billy took great pride in his six grandchildren: Berkley, Brecken, Brayden, Wyatt, Hannah, and Peyton, who loved their Pa and will miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given in Billy's honor to the Endowment Fund of Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church, 4001 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32207-6321.
