Bonnie Inez Peavey

Bonnie Inez Peavey, age 83, of Jacksonville, Fl went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2016. She was born on February 10, 1933 in Ocala, FL. Bonnie was a beloved daughter to George E. Leuders and Aline L. Leuders and sister to Gladys and Johnny whom have passed in earlier years. She was a loving wife to the late Gordon D. Peavey (Junior). Thier union was blessed with five children. Dora, Ricky, Margie, Larry and Happi. Bonnie had the great fortune of being a grandmother to 11 grandchildren, Joe,Sam,Shane, Angel, Brenda, Rebecca, Phillip, Natasha, Tinnia, Zeke and Levi. She saw those grandchildren go on to bless her with 14 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. To the youngest of the grandchildren she was known as “Mawmaw nanny doll”. She was a very strong and loving woman with the most gentle and giving soul. Her beauty was deep in her soul. She was one to express her expectations to all and made sure to let all in her life know the pride she had for them and they were unconditionally loved by her. She was respected for her honesty and very well known for it. She was known for collecting porcelain dolls and they gave her such joy. She lived the same way she loved, with all that she had to give. She was a very positive person that never dwelled on sacrifices. To say that she was a hard working woman is an understatement. She devoted her life to her family and her career. She was well into her 70’s when she retired. Her heart towered with tenderness and genuine compassion for others. She had a sharp wit and the ability to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Bonnie was the core, the glue and the fabric of her family and continuously kept the bond strong. She had countless friends near and far and will be dearly be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 22nd at Naugle Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Ave. Preceding the service all are invited to join the family at Riverside Presbyterian House where Bonnie resided at 2:00pm.

There will be no graveside service.
