Carolyn Frances Tennison

Carolyn Frances Tennison, also known as "Fluffy", age 70, of Jacksonville passed away Friday evening on August 2 nd , 2019. She was born on April 8 th , 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida, to Harry Fred Bockelman and Christine LaVell Hardin. She is succeeded by two sisters, Marilyn Skaff and Diana Grant, and a half-brother, Paul Pennington. Carolyn retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield after 35 years of working as a medical claim's examiner and auditor. Carolyn enjoyed her retirement to the fullest. She spent most of her time peacefully reading at home, cooking her favorite recipes for the family or tending to her rose bushes outside. She enjoyed traveling to see friends and family and visiting new places. She also found great joy in treating herself and her family through gifts and by dining at her favorite restaurants.
Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Laura Frances Lay, son Michael Anthony Ariail, and granddaughter Madyson Grace Lay.
A repast for friends and family will be held at 8093 Coatbridge Lane East, Jacksonville, Florida 32244 on August 7 th , 2019 from 5-8pm.
