Cathleen M. C. Holt was born 30 March 1959 in Tennessee and crossed the bifrost on 27 January 2025 in Jacksonville, Florida. Cathy was the daughter of Robert and Margie, sister to Nancy, mother to Andy, Charles, Robert, and Wando, and grandmother to Aiden, Sadie and Annalise. Cathy had a passion for music and art, and that passion led her to the University of Tennessee. While attending, she met her former spouse James, the father of her sons. She then pursued what would be her greatest joy in life, being a nurturing mother and wife, and filling the home with love and laughter. Her passion for the arts never wavered and she encouraged the love of music, drawing, and creativity in every aspect of life. Her kindness, friendliness, and compassion often saw her lending a hand to whomever needed it, regardless of the circumstances. Cathy will be deeply missed and memories of her will be cherished forever by those who knew her.
The family will have a private ceremony in Canton, Illinois where she will be laid to rest with her mother and father.
