Christine Maria Pihl
September 20, 1953 — January 31, 2023
On Tuesday January 31st, 2023 Christine Maria Pihl, age 69, lost her battle with cancer. She passed at 9:15 AM at Mayo Cinic in Jacksonville, FL. She was surrounded by the love of her husband of 50 years Jack V Pihl, her daughters Martina J Carr and Corinna J Pihl.
Christine was the beloved grandmother (Mimi) to her two grandsons Benjamin M Davis, and Nathan C Davis. Christine was the daughter of Franz and Margarete Kraut of Ansbach, Germany. She is survived by her brothers Hans (Waltraud) Kraut and Herbert (Rositta) Kraut. Predeceased by her younger brother Karl-Heinz Kraut.
Christine was well known for her love of all animals, especially her cats, and grand-dogs. Her hobbies included reading, arts and crafts and working at and finding special items to add to the Curiosity Shoppe with close family friend Tiffiny Poole in Bayard Antique Village for the last 25 years.
