Cyril Francis Stead

Cyril “Cy” Francis Stead Jr, 69, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Woodland Grove Health & Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, September 22 at Naugle Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207, Father John Reynolds will be officiating.
Cy was born September, 22, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA to Cyril and Jane (Ackerman) Stead. He graduated from Archbishop Curly High School in 1966. On July 19th, 1969 he married the former Barbara Ann Lando in Miami.
Cy spent most of his time tinkering in the garage on his numerous inventions and also enjoyed reading, Sudoku, playing cards with his children and watching sports.
Cyril is survived by Barbara Lando Stead and their three children, Michelle Scala (Stead) Morgan and her husband Gary of San Clemente, CA, Aimee Elizabeth Stead of Jacksonville, FL, and David Christopher Stead of Jacksonville, FL; and his siblings, Susan, Christine, Marc, Nancy, Beth, Tim and many nieces and nephews.
