Dain William Barra, 52, passed away on February 22, 2016, at his home in Greencove Springs, Florida.
Dain was born in New Jersey on March 11, 1963. He joined the Navy in 1982 and later in life married & moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he raised his two daughters.
Dain enjoyed everyday reading the word of God, mastering the art of Artisan bread making, & woodworking. He'll be incredibly missed by his many friends, daughters, Angelica Swindle & Gabrielle Barra as well as his surviving father, Dominic Barra & sister Nancy Barra.
Dain was a lively man full of jokes and laughter. He loved God & showed his love by giving to others in need. He was a wonderful father & friend to many.
Dain was cremated and there will be a Veterans Memorial for him held at the National Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL on his birthday, March 11, 2016 @ 1:30pm.
