Danny Perry

Perry, Danny (Dan) Lee went home to be with the Lord on 04/19/2021. Dan was born 12/28/1951 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Daniel and Erlene Perry (Manire). He served in the United States Air Force during the 70's. Danny was a proud and long-time member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. His profession was in security that included protecting Prime Osborn, First Baptist Church, City Hall and the Tax Collector's Office. He was a poet and has many published items including a poem on display at St. Augustine City Hall. He was the oldest of his siblings, Randy Perry, Rodney Perry, Lori Ann Perry (Pigeon) and one stepbrother, John K Manire. He is survived by many family members and friends. Dan had a kind heart with a gentle soul. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville with funeral service to follow and internment at 2:30 pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
