Darian Kenneth Russell passed away on July 26, 2024 at the age of 34. He was a warm and caring person whose smile could light up a room, and he gave the best hugs. Darian's presence was a source of joy for everyone around him, leaving a lasting impression with his infectious laughter and genuine kindness.
Darian was much loved and respected by his friends, family, and coworkers. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel seen, valued, and appreciated. Whether through his thoughtful words, his willingness to lend a helping hand, or his warm hugs, Darian was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him. His love for friends and family was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Darian's kindness, warmth, and joy will be remembered fondly by all who were fortunate to have him in their lives.
He will be deeply missed by his adoptive father, Darian Russell, and his mother, Sonya Russell. His biological father, Saul Lazalde and his stepmother Tina will also mourn his loss. Darian's sisters, Cassie Bechtold (and her husband Nick along with their 2 daughters), and Elizabeth Lazalde, his brothers, Jorge Lazalde (his wife Nathalia along with their son and daughter), and Daniel Lazalde, will hold him close in their hearts. Additionally, his stepmother, Dianne, and stepsister, Ryn, will remember him with love and affection.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 9 at Ruby Beach Brewing from 3:30-6:00 in Jacksonville to honor Darian's life. He always loved gatherings and festivities, and his family wishes to celebrate his life in a way that reflects his joyful spirit.
