Debra Jane Harvey

Debra J. Harvey, 68, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away February 4, 2016. She was born in Syracuse, New York, June 1, 1947. She is survived by her husband, Morris E. Harvey and four of her children, Donald (Karen) Hopkins, Daniel Hopkins, Lorne (Tabitha) Hopkins, and Theresa (Thomas) Blackburn, and preceded in death by her son David Hopkins. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren that she loved dearly. In addition she has four living siblings, Barbara Carnrite, JoAnn Keller, Mary Cornish and Gary Carnrite as well as several nieces and nephews. Her passion in life was being a mother to all and also being a florist as co-owner of Flowers & More, Inc. here in Jacksonville, Florida. A private memorial service will be held at her daughter’s house for family and close friends on Tuesday February 9th, 2016 from 3-5pm. Rev. Chris Coram of NJBC will be conducting the private service.
