Dennis Michael Grant

Dennis (Mike) Michael Grant, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on Monday, April 9th, 2018, at the age of 69, surrounded by his family. Mike served in the United States Air Force during the first half of his career, retiring as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Air Force in 1988, he relocated to Florida to be closer to his children, Chason and Holly, where he began his second career at the Florida State Board of Nursing, from which he also retired. Mike enjoyed participating in bowling and softball leagues while in the military, he loved to play solitaire, and was an avid golfer. He was also a huge Atlanta Braves fan and loved music and history.


Mike is survived by his loving wife Kathy Grant; 2 children, Chason Grant and Holly Grant-Brown; his step-daughter Adrienne Rice; his 2 grandchildren Sophie and Joshua, and his sister, Linda Roman.

A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 pm on Tuesday evening, April 17th at Naugle Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Avenue Jacksonville, FL 32207 (904) 396-1611
