Dennis James Thibault

Dennis James Thibault, 66, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Tuesday November 26th, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.

Dennis was born on May 16, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan to Renaud and Virginia Thibault. He later joined the United States Navy, and served honorably as a Flight Engineer, from August 27, 1976 to May 27, 1986. After serving his country, Dennis became a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for 34 years.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Renaud and Virginia (Hamlin) Thibault, and his daughter, Krista Lynn Thibault.

He is survived by the love of his life, wife of 16 years, Deborah Thibault, and has two stepchildren, Russell and Lynne. His siblings, Richard (Rick) Thibault; Shelly Thibault Newmann; and John Paul Thibault and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Jamie, and Jason, D.J., and Lisa, as well as their children and numerous family members and friends, he considered family.

A committal service for Dennis will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Those who attend will park in Lane 2 to await an escort by cemetery staff to a pavilion for military honors to be rendered.
