Diane E. DeLorie of Orange Park, Fl. was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She passed away peacefully on July 22, 2022, at age 70 after complications from a stroke she suffered in February. Diane was born in Johnstown, PA. to Stuart and Shirley Seese on September 17, 1951, and would eventually and proudly become the older sister in a family of seven children. Following in her father's footsteps, she went to work for the railroad at the early age of seventeen in Cleveland OH. retiring from CSX in Jacksonville, FL after forty-two years of dedicated service. Throughout her career, her strong work ethic, inner confidence, and love of being a railroader not only provided her with success and fulfillment, but she was also blessed with many co-workers who would become lifelong friends and the source of many cherished relationships. She met and later married Alexander H. DeLorie, a fellow railroader on May 7, 1993, and the two were joyfully married every day since. Devotion to her family and selflessness fueled her passion for volunteerism. Diane began her volunteer work as a teenager when she worked as a candy striper in a local hospital. In her thirties, she learned sign language to better serve hearing impaired victims of domestic abuse. Collecting and or shopping for food and other items for local food banks, shelters and or those in need was a welcomed activity throughout her life. Post retirement, she dedicated her time to the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), then became a volunteer Genealogist for the Missing in America Project (MIAP). As a result of her research, the unclaimed cremated remains of hundreds of veterans and spouses of veterans that had been left at funeral homes or cremation services were given full military honors funeral services and interred at National Cemeteries throughout Florida. Diane is survived by her husband, Alexander H. DeLorie, her daughter and constant in life, Shannon Goss-Tucker (Husband: Ron Tucker, Jr.), her mother Shirley E. Seese (nee: Lehman); her sister Carol A. Hujarski (Husband: Larry J. Hujarski), Lois J. Hoover (Husband: William "Skip" Hoover) and Stuart W. Seese (Wife: Kathy R. Seese) and Robert E.
