Diane Sanders passed peacefully into God's heaven on September 16th, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida. Lovingly known as Di Di by family and childhood friends, Diane was born on March 20th, 1962, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Harold A. Sanders and Beverly Sanders. She grew up primarily in Warner Robins, Georgia and had many fond memories of her childhood there, with her sisters and her horse Joker. Her family moved to Daytona Beach, Florida and she graduated from Spruce Creek High School in 1980. She continued her education, obtaining a Finance Degree from the University of North Florida, and worked for Allstate Insurance for the latter part of her career.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold A. Sanders, and stepmother, Barbara Daehn Sanders. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Dorr (Yvan De La Cruz), mother, Beverly Sanders, sisters Cheryl Walsh (Paul Walsh), Pam McSwain (Greg McSwain), Susan Sanders, Ede Cooper (Scott Cooper), step-siblings Bill Welsch and Laura Welsch Giesel, as well as thirteen nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Diane was known for her sweet soul and contagious laugh. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She knew how to celebrate all the joys that life can bring and loved a good vacation. It was a privilege to know her and to love her.
