Dianne Luker
May 29, 1942 — January 25, 2021
Dianne Beene Luker, 78, passed away after complications from open heart surgery on January 25, 2021, and walked joyously into heaven to Dad and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Dianne was predeceased by her parents, John and Mildred Beene, and her husband, Robert Luker. She is survived by her sons and their spouses John (Kara) and Joel (Allison) Luker, her five grandchildren Madison, Ethan, Wyatt, Reese and Chase as well as her brother, Joe Beene.
Dianne was an elementary school teacher at Greenfield Elementary for many years, as well as an elementary school Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church for over 50 years. She has had the honor and privilege of loving on thousands of her "forever" kids. She freely and fully gave her love to all those that she met and has left a host of friends, family and neighbors who will miss her greatly.
Dianne's greatest joy though was her family. She shared an almost 50 year marriage to Robert Luker and was an amazing Mom to John and Joel, filling our home with laughter and love. This love for her sons was to only be surpassed by her love for her five grandkids. She loved seeing their many milestones and accomplishments and her congratulatory hugs and smile will be missed at all the milestones to come.
Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Jacksonville February 3, 2021 from 10am-noon. The family requests that everyone wear masks and socially distance. For those unable to attend in person, following is a zoom link to attend the service virtually.
