Eliseo Salazar Ojeda

Eliseo Salazar Ojeda (Duke) was born July 20, 1936 in Kansas City, Kansas to parents Severo Ojeda and Margaret Salazar. Duke passed on June 21, 2016 just shy of his 80th birthday. His remaining immediate family, ex-wife Barbara Lumsden Farrow (Ojeda) for 27 years and had one son from the marriage, David Salazar Ojeda and 3 stepsons from her previous marriage; Noel Scott, Mark (Toby) Scott and Robert Scott. Duke was a man who at 17 joined the Korean War as a Marine and was later decorated and honorably discharged. He was a complicated and private man, never afraid to share his care, concern, love, support or his opinion with others. He had a large family of 5 brothers and sisters, some who predeceased him and many nephews and nieces. His ashes will be interred at the Veteran's National Cemetery Jacksonville, FL.
