Florence "Bunny" Whelan

Florence “Bunny” Whelan, 84, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on Good Shepherd Sunday, May 7, 2017. She was born on March 12, 1933 in Springfield, MA to Russell and Florence Jackson. She married Richard Whelan in September 1958. Together they relocated to Jacksonville, Florida in 1970. Richard predeceased her in 2002. She is survived by her children, Mark (Cason Lynley) Whelan and Kathy (Benoit) Desclefs; grandchildren, Blake (Emily) Williamson, Katlin Williamson, Tyler Williamson, Luke Desclefs; Great Grandson, Finn Williamson and predeceased by Great Grandson, Michael Leon in 2016; Sister, Diana (Jack) Nolan; Brother, Russel (Maureen) Jackson; and predeceased by her sister Polly Roenbeck in 1997. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 10 at 10:00am at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery
