Frances Gaye Harris Killough

Frances Gaye Harris Killough, 68, passed away on Thursday, July 7, after a long illness. Gaye, a loving mother and wife, was born and raised in Jacksonville. She graduated from Bishop Kenny High School and Jacksonville University. Gaye had a soft spot for animals in need of adoption, providing a home for many strays over the years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Claire Harris and her husband, Clay “Bill” Killough. She is survived by her sister, Carmen Deese, her daughter, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church, 2403 Atlantic Boulevard followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial.
