Gail Griffin Jones

She is survived by her children Rosemary, Bernie, and Michael (Joyce), her grandchildren Kyle, Lexi and Curtis and her great grandchildren Courtney, Ayden, Mikayla and Zoey. She is also survived by her brother, Bob and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Miami, Florida on 9/22/1934.
Gail was a long-time resident of Jacksonville where she raised her children. She was an advocate for women's rights and was a member of the National Organization of Women Jacksonville Chapter. She was one of the original founders of Hubbard House, Rape Crisis Center and Suicide Hotline. Gail marched in our nation's capital for equal rights in the 70s.
She had a beautiful heart and soul. Everyone she encountered was touched by her kind nature. She will be missed by family and friends.
A memorial service will be held 11 am, Friday, October 5th at Naugle Funeral Home , 1203 Hendricks Avenue Jacksonville, Florida 32207. (904)396-1611
