Gene A. Hancock, 90, of Jacksonville, FL., passed awy May 11, 2020.
Gene was a disabled veteran serving in the US Navy. He was a retired employee of NAPA, and a member of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Edwin and Addie Pearl Hancock; sisters Martha Anne WatsonRuby Virginia Seeks; brother Dr, Charles E, Hancock; and nephew Stephen Wallace Hancock.
Gene is survived by his widow Jeanne Cornett Hancock and foster son John H. Memory, along with nieces Catherine Ann (Mark) Peters, Patricia Lynne Seska, all of Jacksonville, FL, and Donna Elizabeth Lawson, of Bozeman, Montana; nephews Frank William (Naomi) Soska of Montrose, Colorado, and Robert Allan (Robin) Watson of Atlanta, Georgia.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cure SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy).
A celebration of Gene's life will be announced when CDCrestrictions are lifted regardinf Covid-19.
