After graduating from Hamilton High School in New Jersey in 1955, Bob had a double career working first at US Steel in Fairless, PA from 1954 to 1987 before retiring to Jacksonville, FL. After finding he needed something else to do in retirement, he became a security guard at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL from 1988 to his second retirement in 2015. Bob was an avid reader and loved to ride motorcycles, build models, woodworking, home projects, and work on his cars. Corvairs and Ford Rancheros were his cars of choice and later loved his convertible Miata. Bob was very involved in Alcoholics Anonymous attending numerous meetings over the years as well as being a sponsor assisting individuals to overcome their addiction. He was very proud to celebrate 50 years of sobriety in 2021.
