Georgene N Boehmer

Georgene N. Boehmer died Friday, October 30th, 2015, at the age of 65 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Libertyville, IL., and lived most of her adult life in New Orleans, LA., where she cared for her mother and worked in the Real Estate Title industry. Georgene moved to Jacksonville, FL. in 2003 where she spent the rest of her life. She was preceded in death by her father, George H. Boehmer Jr., her mother, Dorothy J. Boehmer, her sister, Ragene B. Ramirez, and her brother, George H. Boehmer III. She is survived by her “brother-in-love”, Joseph W. Lourcey.
Georgene was dedicated to her faith and lived by the teachings of Jesus Christ. She was proud to be an active member and serving deacon of the Riverside Presbyterian Church, her “second” home. A memorial service will be held there on November 9th at 2 p.m. with a reception following. The church is located at 849 Park Street, Jacksonville, FL, 32204, 904-355-4585 In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the church in support of their ministries.
