Gordon Robert Foster

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon R Foster, on Sunday, February 27th. Gordie was born Nov.28th, 1937 in Howell, Michigan to Otto & Ellen Foster. He married Barbara Stone on July 4, 1956. He retired from the Navy in 1976, having spent most of his career at NAS Cecil Field, attaining the rank of E-7 Chief. He then went to work at NAS Jax NARF, retiring again, this time to travel in his RV. He loved wintering in Key West in his RV, making lots of friends at Trumbo RV Park. Gordie is predeceased by both his parents and brothers Douglas and Robert (Letty). He is survived by his ex-wives, Barbara Thomas (Wayne) and Marilyn Pendergrass (Jerry). His daughter, Robin Moore (Ron Nix) and son, Gordon Robert Foster, Jr (Al Rturo Luna). Sisters, Norma Recker and Darlene Shaw and brother Gary. 2 grandchildren and 4 grandsons. A host of nieces, nephews and friends. No funeral service is planned, following his wishes. With cremation and spreading of his ashes at sea, at a later date.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a date later to be determined.

caregivers at Community Hospice.
