Harriett Mochel
August 10, 1942 — October 8, 2017
Harriett "Holly" Krevatas Mochel, 75, of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Alma, Arkansas and a native of Tarpon Springs, Florida went to be with her heavenly father on October 8th 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in heaven by Robert Mochel, Ryan Jones, John Spero Krevatas and Helen Leangos.
Holly is survived by her four girls: Tamara (Mark) Coulter of Missouri, Christina "Tina" Mesquit of Florida, Teresa (Mike) Thomas of Arkansas and Tracie (Tony) Jones of Arkansas.
As well as her grandchildren: Justin and Jon (Katie) Coulter, Andrew and Michael Mesquit, Michael, Joseph and Bryley Thomas, Robert Rhodes and Nathan (Alli) Jones, who will serve as her pall bearers, And her great grandchildren: Reid Coulter, Jorja, Ryan and Brantley Rhodes. She is also survived by her loving sister, Mary Moshonas and her children, brothers Spero Krevatas and Les Ford.
They dearly loved their sister "Harriett" all her life.
Holly loved nothing more than being with her family at home in her kitchen and trying new recipes. She was known for her wonderful Greek cuisine. Her favorite motto was: "Come, are you hungry? Let me feed you! EAT, EAT!!"
Above all, Holly was a devoted and loving mother. Her adoring love for Christ and her family was known by all. She loved her daughters "The 4 T's" fiercely and protected, guided, and treasured them as they did her.
As a Ya-Ya, she was exemplary of faith, love and respect.
Holly was very proud of her Greek heritage and was a lifelong member of St. Johns the Divine Greek Orthodox Church in Jacksonville, Florida
A very special Thank You to Father Nicholas Lough whom she loved and adored.
All of our live's will never be the same without her here with us!!
