Haskel Joe Hill February 10,1947 to March 5, 2022. Born in Harriman, TN lived and died in Jacksonville, Fl. Parents: John E. Hill and Mamie Louise (Hopper) Hill. Baby brother to John Hill, James Ray Hill, Ruth Ann (Hill) Bodine, Sharon (Hill) Parker, and Doris Hill. Haskel moved to Jacksonville, FL when he was ten years old. When he was seventeen years old he joined the Army where he fought for our great country in the Vietnam War. Haskel was a Vietnam POW, a war hero with seven purple hearts, Army cross and many other service medals and accomodations. Haskel died from his service connected injury with Agent Orange contributing to his cause of death. Haskel is survived by his Daughters, Ida (Hill) Hendrix; Sean Paul Hendrix, Helana (Hill) Cormier; John Cormier, and Alice Hill. Grand children, Terri (Cormier) Churchill, Carri (Cormier) Jackson, John-Edward Cormier, Sharri Cormier, Samantha Cormier, Mark Cormier, Jacob Cormier, Jonah Chene, Abigail Chene, Ethan Chene, Richard Hendrix, Emma Hendrix, and Clara Hendrix. Great Grand children, Aurora, Gideon, Tyler, Aliyah, and Lincoln. His sister, Ruth Ann (Hill) Bodine and sisters-in-law Dixie Hill and Irma Hill. Nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
