Hilda Mae Andrews nee West of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep Jan 7, 2021 at the age of 97. Born in Cresson, Pennsylvania on May 5, 1923. Before marrying John Andrews, she worked in a shirt factory which led to her excellent seamstress skills. Along with being a fine seamstress, she was an avid knitter and a great cook. Always ready to set another dish for an unexpected guest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John J Andrews; grandson, Devon Sheffield and step granddaughter, Kim Dicus.
A loving Mother, Grandmother & Great grandmother, she is survived by her children, Bill Chesnut (Shirl), Debbie Bessent (Ellis), Denise Herringdine (Curtis) & John J Andrews Jr, (Alexa)
Grandchildren, Alan Stone, Karen Sheffield (Bobby), Kristin Phillips (Bryan), Katie Boschele (Chett), Kim Bessent, Adam Herringdine (Julie), Darrell Herringdine (Whitney), Ryan Herringdine, Stefan Andrews (Caitlin), & Stuart Andrews (Ashley); Step grandson,Jeff Dicus.
Great grandchildren, Dylan & Darin Sheffield, Tayler & Austin Phillips, Brooke & Peyton Boschele, Allicyn Herringdine, Aiden & Luke Andrews, Finnegan & Keegan Andrews.
