Ima Jean Caudle
December 21, 1932 — January 20, 2018
Ima Jean Caudle, our dear mother/grandmother, went to Heaven on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the age of 85. Born Ima Jean Hall on December 21, 1932, to Chester Blaine and Flossie Hall. Ima Jean was born in Science Hill, Kentucky, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1969 due to her job with Greyhound Bus lines.
Ima Jean's strength and independence has always been admirable. Anyone who met her fell in love with her sweet personality. She will forever be remembered by her loving family and friends.
Ima was predeceased by her husband, John Caudle; her brothers Charles, Ollis, Carlton, Joe Hall, and her sisters Margaret Hines and Juanita Hall.
She is survived by her daughter, and son in law, Donna and Scott Pitts, son and daughter in law, Michael and Sandy Ritchie; brothers, Bobby and Jack Hall and her grandchildren, Ali and James Kern, and Karson, Max, and Gavin Ritchie; and her brothers Bobby and Jack Hall.
The family is planning a private viewing. Graveside service will be Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 at Oaklawn Cemetery, at 12:00 pm.
