 Born on December 1, 1950, in Des Moines, Iowa, Jacquelyn was the daughter of Lee and LaVerne Stoll. She grew up surrounded by the love and support of her two devoted brothers, Dan and Don. From an early age, the bond between Jacquelyn and her brothers was unbreakable, built on shared adventures, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to one another. Their relationship was a lifelong source of strength, encouragement, and love, shaping her values and the compassionate spirit she carried with her throughout her life. 

She was united in marriage with Donald Griggs for 35 years until his passing on July 8, 2019. Together, they built a life filled with love and mutual support, and their partnership was marked by resilience and a shared commitment to making a difference in their community. Donald and Jacquelyn were dedicated to each other and to the idea of helping those in need, and they were known for their active involvement in numerous charitable and educational initiatives. 

Jacquelyn's legacy of compassion and dedication continues to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched. Her passion for empowering at-risk high school students was a beacon of hope that transformed countless lives. She cherished family gatherings, where her warmth and love created lasting memories for her children and grandchildren. 

In addition to her family, Jacquelyn leaves behind a network of friends, former students, and colleagues who were touched by her kindness and generosity. She had a remarkable ability to forge lasting connections with those around her, and she made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
