James (Jim) Robert Borngesser passed away on March 25, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Anne (Slater) Borngesser. They shared 23 years of marriage together.
Born in Wauwatosa, WI Jim was the son of Robert (Bob) and Beverly (Maher) Borngesser. Jim received his undergraduate from University of Wisconsin with a degree in Philosophy and received his MBA’s from University of Cincinnati in Economics, Marketing and International Business. The majority of Jim’s career was in Consumer Marketing where he worked for American Home Products, Bausch and Lomb, SC Johnson and Vistakon. During the last couple of years Jim founded and was President of Family Focused Home Healthcare because he wanted to give back and help others.
Jim was a member of San Juan Del Rio where he worked on the Hope Ministry. He enjoyed watching the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers, biking and fishing with his kids. Most of all he enjoyed being a dad and spending time with his family. There were no strangers in Jim’s world only friends and people he had yet to meet. Jim was best known for his wonderful hugs, contagious smile and hearty laugh.
Jim is survived by his wife, Anne, children Evangeline (Maggie), Jeffrey (Jeff) and McAnarney (Mac), Sister, Susan (John) Kalmuck, parents, Robert (Bob) and Beverly Borngesser. Also survived by cherished nieces, nephews, family members and treasured friends. He is predeceased by his brother William Borngesser.
The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017, 2:00 pm, at San Juan del Rio Church.
In honor of Jim, if possible please wear red – he never wanted a funeral as much as he wanted a celebration of life and red was his favorite color. Immediately following the mass we will continue to celebrate Jim’s life at Tim and Lisa Menton’s house, 725 Eagle Point Dr. St. Augustine, FL 32092.
