A Life Tribute for James Clayton Dameron
It is with great sadness that the family of James Clayton Dameron, known to family and friends as "Clay", announces his unexpected passing on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the age of 36.
Clay will be lovingly remembered by his mother; Virginia Dameron, his brother, Jody Dameron, his sister, Kim Bosco and his two nieces, Amanda Bertelsen and Emily Beverly. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Billie Ruth Collins as well as several uncles, aunts and cousins. Clay was predeceased by his father, Michael Dameron, his step-brother, Michael Dameron Jr., and his first cousin, Brian Collins as well as both his maternal and paternal grandfathers, Clayton Collins and Charles Dameron.
Clay was born November 4, 1981 in Jacksonville, Florida. He lived in Jacksonville his entire life one of very few native "Jacksonvillians". Although Clay never married or had any children, he very much wanted to have both and create his own little family. He loved unconditionally and with his whole heart. Clay was the youngest of the four siblings. He lived too short of a life and his physical presence will be missed tremendously.
Clay was a loving son, brother and friend. He was loyal to a fault and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He loved to fish and was an avid "gamer". He had a great sense of humor and always found the right way to break a tense moment or just make you laugh for no reason.
