James William West, Jr

James (Jim) William West, Jr. 79 of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, passed away January 1st, 2022 after a lengthy battle with MS. He was a loving husband, father, and friend. He attended Duncan U. Fletcher High School. A serviceman of the United States Air Force, he saw his later years as a small business owner and award winning salesman for Haverty's furniture. Jim loved to fish, go bowling and towards retirement, learned to love golf.
Jim is preceded in death by his wife of fourty-one years, Mary Evelyn West and his parents, James Lehman(West) and Betty Cannon. He is survived by his three children - Tracey Hungerford, Travis West, and Tina West-Williams, his four grandchildren - Erica Harding, Carter Hungerford, Maya Williams, and Chloe West as well as his two great-grandchildren - Major Harding and Hayes Harding. His companion in his later years was his little dog, Pebbles.
