Jean Frances Coffman Hathaway lived in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a wonderful wife, sister, aunt and mother to all and on Saturday August 29, 2015, at the age of 80, she passed away.
Jean was born on February 1, 1935 in Henderson, Kentucky. She has been married to a wonderful man for the past 55 years, Jesse “Jack” Hathaway.
Jean’s favorite pass time was being a homemaker and wife, and she LOVED to play B.I.N.G.O. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
Survivors include (husband) Jesse “Jack” Hathaway, her love and best friend; (two brothers) William E. Coffman and Kenneth “Wayne” Coffman; (one brother-in-law) Hilly Houston Hathaway; (3 sisters-in-law) Shirley Hathaway Williamson, Betty Hathaway Willis, and JoAnn Hathaway Rhymes (family) Danny Barrow, AND all of her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean “I’ll miss you until we meet again!”
Outside services will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery, Wednesday September 9th at 2:30 pm. Attendees are advised to arrive at 2:10-2:20pm and to line up in lane 2 before commencing in procession to the Committal Shelter.
