Jeremy James Margettes passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was 29 years old.
Jeremy was born to parents, Brian and Phyllis Margettes, on June 20, 1988 in Jacksonville. He grew up as the older brother to his sister, Jennifer. Jeremy attended Bradford High and graduated in 2007. He is survived by his parents, Brian and Phyllis Margettes, his sister, Jennifer Margettes, and grandparents, Kent and Thelma Margettes, Nelson and Sandra Patton, and Dawn Mull.
Starting when he was a baby, Jeremy was full of the joy of life. He loved to laugh and would often catch people off guard with his dry sense of humor. Jeremy's smile was infectious and could brighten any day. He was a "one boy entertainment system" from a very young age. He was always a peacemaker and often tried to intervene between squabbles among friends at school.
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God.
Jeremy touched many lives through his life's journey. He taught patience and endurance through his attitude and example. He loved Camp I Am Special and always enjoyed his time there. Camp was always an uplifting event for both the campers, buddies and staff.
