Jericka Mckenzie Gardner

Jericka McKenzie Bennett-Gardner, 29, of Jacksonville, went to her eternal home on Friday,
January 24, 2020.
She was born to the late Randy H and Jenny L Bennett on January 10, 1991, in Jacksonville, Fl.
Jericka was a sweet and kindhearted soul who had a heart of gold; along with a sense of humor
that could be witty or dry. She enjoyed fishing, being at the beach, visiting with family and
friends. Jericka was avid animal lover who had her veterinarian assistant certification; along
with her medical assistant certification, but her true passion was being a phlebotomist. Jericka
was employed with LifeSouth Community Blood Center at the time of her death. She had
previously worked at Kentucky Blood Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
Jericka is survived by her Mother, Jenny of Jacksonville, along with her siblings; sister, Jennifer
(Charles) Stilger of Lanesville, In. and brother, Logan (Alicia) Bennett of Marietta, Ga. She
shared a special bond with her nieces; Abby Johnson and Zoey Bennett. She was also Mommy
to her two fur babies, Chan and Bubby, who spent many of miles traveling with her to visit
relatives and friends. She is also survived by her Granny, Linda (Franklin) Roberson of Waycross,
Ga. along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 30 th in the Chapel of
Naugle Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, Fl. Funeral service will follow
beginning at 3:30 p.m.
