Joanne Claudine Riordan, 65, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on October 21, 2024. She was born on September 29, 1959 to Sidney Allen Archer and Florence Claudine Staton in Norfolk, Virginia. She would later graduate from Granby High School in 1977 and go on to study business.
She later married Patrick H. Riordan and traveled the U.S. with their children, Matthew and Jeremiaha. She retired in Jacksonville, Florida to be closer to her granddaughters and sons.
Joanne was predeceased by her youngest son, Jeremiaha Daniel (Michelle). She is survived by her eldest son, Matthew George (Maricel); sister, Kathy Eyler; granddaughters; Amari, Isabella, and Maliyah-Jade; and niece, Elizabeth Eyler.
There are no services scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers or gifts, at the request of the family, please donate to your local ASPCA. Joanne felt very strongly about animals, especially her beloved cat, Josie. She will always be remembered for her compassion, joyous personality, and the love she had for her granddaughters.
