Parker was an able assistant and caregiver to his grandmother, Frances Shuler Griffin, in the last year of her life.

He is also mourned by his aunts, uncles and cousins, Dick Parker Wall III, Edward Lee Wall (Ainslie), Ann Kathryn Wall, John Shuler Griffin (Robbin), Edward Lee Wall, Jr., John William Wall, Garrett Sebastian Wall, Georgia Griffin Tanabe (Daichi) and Pruitt Reed Griffin. Parker will be remembered for his strong love of family and family activities.
Parker has lived in Covington and Baton Rouge, LA and Jacksonville, FL making friends everywhere he went. He was active in sports, playing soccer, wrestling and football, and was led to church youth ministry in his younger years. Later Parker enjoyed hiking, music, traveling, and almost always had a dog as co-pilot. One of his favorite trips was exploring Japan with his aunt and cousin.
While in Jacksonville, Parker attended Trinity Christian Academy and University of North Florida.
His family will remember him for his cherished role as "Bubby", uncle to four feisty nieces and one nephew - Kathryn Miller Pickett, Mary Price Parker Pickett, Kirby Harper Terry, Ainslie Collins Terry, and William Buckner Terry.
Parker's crowning young adult achievement was his leadership as Rector of Happening #97 at Camp Weed in Live Oak, FL. As such, his Honorary Pallbearers are Happening team members and Andrew Hofheimer, Adam Longenecker, Worth McArthur and Charlie Weissinger.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 15th at 11:00am at Grace Episcopal Church, 245 Kingsley Avenue in Orange Park with the Rev. Canon Aaron Smith and the Rev. Shuler Griffin officiating.
