John Christopher Guthrie passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 42 years of age. He was born March 4, 1976 in Jacksonville, FL. Chris is survived by his parents, Nancy and Ray; brother, Daniel (Jennifer); three children, Luke, Hannah, and Clayton; and a loving family of nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chris graduated from Englewood High School, was a talented baseball player and avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. With his quick smile and outgoing personality, Chris was at the center of every gathering and could make even the newest acquaintance feel like an old friend. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m on Friday, February 22, 2019, at Naugle Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Avenue in Jacksonville, FL. A celebration of Chris's life will be held at 5:00 p.m following the visitation.
