John Kowkabany

Kowkabany, John Charles age 75, passed away Sunday morning, August 13th. John graduated from Bishop Kenny High School and Jacksonville University.
John served on the Neptune Beach City Council and was elected Mayor of Neptune Beach serving two terms. He was a real estate investor and general contractor. John was a founding member of Jacksonville Bank and actively served on the Board of Directors until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hazouri Kowkabany and sisters, Brenda, Claudette, Claudia and Denise and several nieces and nephews. His parents, Tofik and Alice Kowkabany predeceased him. He also lost his furry children, Dixon and Karianne.
Services will be held at St Maron Church, 7032 Bowden Road at 11:00 Thursday August 17th. Contributions will be appreciated to St. Jude's Children Hospital, Memphis, TN and to the National Park Foundation, P.O. Box 17394 Baltimore, MD 21298
