JOHN WILLIAM (BILL) ROGERS, Jr.
ROGERS John William (Bill) Rogers, Jr. 80, passed away on September 1, 2015. He is survived by his sister, Lennye E. Rogers; children, Mike Rogers, Patti Weigel and Karen Tripp; step-sons Bob Heath and Rick Heath; niece, Shanda Vanderpol; and the daughter of his heart, Katherine Gramm-Zlotnick. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and by many beloved friends and co-workers.
Mr. Rogers received his B.A. in Finance from FSU but was an avid Seminole fan from birth. He was a corporate Trustee for most of his career, but in recent years was the respected and revered Office Manager of a Jacksonville law firm. He had a thirst for knowledge and a wide range of interests, but had a passion for jazz and interesting cars. Everyone who knew him considered him to be genuine and caring, but most of all a true gentleman.
