Julia Teresita Meadows, 83 of Jacksonville, Fl was called home by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 22, 2020.
Funeral services are pending at Naugle Schnauss Funeral Home and Cremation in Jacksonville while arrangements are being made.
Julia was born on the island of Guam January 10, 1937 and was raised by her beloved grandfather Vincente Manglona (Tata). Later she continued her education in Hawaii. She was first united in marriage to Arnold Curley Sr. Then later she met and married Rhea Allen Meadows with whom she enjoyed traveling, gardening, and dancing.
Julia had a real love for her dogs, playing Bingo, and sharing her island heritage while cooking and spending time with family. She had a very close relationship with God and attended Mass faithfully.
In her new life Julia will be welcomed at the Gates of Heaven by her husband Rhea Meadows, her mother Maria Manglona, her grandparents, many aunts and uncles, her oldest son Arnold Lee Curley Jr.,and her grandsons Troy Lee, Evan Dean, and Michael Shane.
Surviving are her children: Jeanette Williams, Teresa (Randy) Nissen, Jesse Curley, Gary Curley, and Kevin Curley. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many loving family members on the island of Guam.
