Kathryn Darling Camarigg passed away on Sunday January 8, 2023.
The daughter of Ralph and Toni Kling, she grew up in sunny Southern California along with her five siblings: Ralph, Keith, Joe, Susan, and Timmy. She graduated from Troy High School in Fullerton, California.
Kathy's life was filled with adventure and fun. As a teenager she threw amazing parties (which her mom and dad may or may not have known about). As an adult she would love going up to Waterman Canyon and Lake Arrowhead and in the Winter, she would fill up the back of the truck and bring snow back home for the kids to play in. She enjoyed attending Angel baseball games (We AINT afraid of No Yankee's!). She also loved going to Disneyland the MANY times the family would go each year. She was an expert at holding our spot for the Main Street Electrical Parade, even if she had to fight over it!
Kathy LOVED music, and she knew every word to every song. Her very favorites were Alabama (ROLL ON!), Elvis, and The Beach Boys. She loved Long Island Iced Tea, her word search puzzle books, playing Go Fish, and cheating at solitaire. She also made SURE that her snack drawer was stocked up with graham crackers and plenty of root beer.
Kathy was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, MAJA, and Grandma Grape. She loved her Grandkids more than anything and was so happy and proud of them every single day. She loved to sing them songs and make them laugh. She made us all laugh with the Oscar Meyer Weiner song, and her famous phrases such as SSDD, That's what SHE said, and "Shit Happens".
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Donelle Waltz; son, Fred Niehoff; Granddaughter, Savannah Waltz; Grandson, Adam Waltz, and 3 great-grandsons who loved their "Grandma Grape", Jack Buffenbarger, Alexander Buffenbarger, and Wesley Robinson.
